    Schweppes International Limited appoints new Marketing Director to accelerate consumer-first marketing

    Amsterdam, 14 January 2026 – Schweppes International Limited (SIL), part of Suntory Beverage & Food Europe (SBFE), is delighted to announce the appointment of Carlo Rivaroli as Marketing Director of Suntory Beverage & Food EECM-Benelux (SBF EECM-Benelux), effective immediately. Next to this new role, he will continue as General Manager Italy.

    This appointment underscores the company’s move towards stronger consumer engagement across the region and bolder brand growth, including iconic beverages such as Schweppes*, Orangina, Oasis*, Lucozade and Ribena.

    Carlo Rivaroli will lead the regional marketing agenda of SBF EECM-Benelux, contributing to strategic transformation initiatives across Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. His mandate: sharpen brand distinctiveness, accelerate innovation and unlock growth through closer alignment between brands, customers and consumers.

    Carlo Rivaroli brings a strong commercial and leadership track record within Suntory. Most recently, as General Manager for Italy, he spent the past two and a half years strengthening sales performance and successfully positioning Schweppes as a bold, distinctive brand in the market.

    In his new position, Carlo Rivaroli will lead the SBF EECM-Benelux marketing organization, working across regional brand teams and local market units. His focus will include speeding up innovation pipelines, embedding data-driven marketing excellence, and driving greater efficiency across marketing initiatives.

    Prior to joining Suntory, Carlo Rivaroli spent nearly 20 years at Heineken, holding senior roles across at both global and local levels, including assignments in the Netherlands and Panama. This unique blend of global FMCG expertise and strong cultural alignment with Suntory provides a solid foundation for delivering bold, consumer-centric marketing for some of our most iconic brands.
